It's a huge lively vibrant bar with lots of tables, big screens, fire pits, great beers, indoor and outdoor seatings. It's located in Ghirardelli plaza that can be conjoined with delicious chocolates 😉

Had a little time to kill and found the SF Beer Co nearby so I figured why not have a pint. Started off with the Lombard Lagger followed by the Marina Blond, ok had a fair bit of time to kill. Both were excellent.
Totally fun place. It's like a sports bar but activities like shuffle board and pool table. The food was much better than a standard sports bar. The fries and pizza were great

We got water straight away and the lady on the front desk was friendly.
We had to browse the menu and order food and drinks via our phones via a QR code - not great.
Our food arrived in good time - c. 20 minutes, but still no drinks (which we ordered at the same time as the food).
Asked the server what was happening and if we could have some cutlery to eat our food with. He went off and came back with one drink and said that they didn’t have any of the other drink anymore and we would have to have something else. We had to ask again for cutlery, by this time, the small pieces of fish on the tacos were warm as opposed to hot.
The server didn’t come back to see how the food was or ask if we wanted any more drinks etc. as we sat with empty glasses. Guess it should have been back to the QR code.
Expensive for what it was. No friendly human interaction with the server, wish we had gone elsewhere.
Food was good. Location is great. But don't expect ANY kind of human interaction other than someone telling you after 20 mins that you were supposed to order and pay for yourself via QR code, then later having the NERVE to ask for 15% tip for a non-existent service. I had to get my own forks from the kitchen window.
My guess is they are in the process of changing the staff to robots / fully automated self service.
Staff was friendly and quick. Food was good and outdoor seating arrangements were perfect .
I both live and work in the area and have frequented SF Brewing Co. for both weekday happy hours and Sunday football over the past few years. I had always had positive experiences up until recently where I had encountered an extremely grumpy bartender who had the audacity to tell me "oh shut up" when I was just politely asking a question. In addition, I ordered some food and was given something completely different than what I ordered. Given the staff was already so rude, I did not send it back and was forced to eat and pay for something I did not want. It is inevitable that I will be back here but I am sadly not looking forward to my next visit.
We went in the middle of a weekday and sat the bar— the staff was very attentive and fun to talk to! Delicious beer with fun twists and the fish tacos were amazing!
